FeaturedCommentsYou have some of the best compositions I've seen on DA. You have an instinctive eye for setting a perfect scene, it seems
Keep up the great work! all of your arts are so pro and detailed!
they all worth DDs. I notice on each of your art, the main focus (the character) is easily distinguishable with the backgrounds. The characters really stand out, even in those so detailed backgrounds. And you did that without blurring the background Do you have tips on how to pull that? sorry, my answer is so late again.. ^^°
About the focusing on the main characters. First, the viewer will be leaded to the "object" you want to show most. So the this can be done by lines or motives on the picture. Every picture has his flow in the lines. from the left to right from bottom to up and so on. This will be mostly done automatically. Some people are genious so, they can controll them. It is also a technique to lead people by the motive. In my case i in most cases, i use the motion in the characters, so they are "active" in the "space" i create for them. And also the colours are a good thing to use. They should all fit together, but colours like "red" are focusing the viewer automatically. So it helps alot to get the right focus for the picture with colours. i hope i could help you abit. ^^° |
