OK, this one is a bit old. Almost a half year ago, since i have finished it. Why i hadn´t released it here? I entered with this pic in a conpetition. I had to keep it till nomination. The nominations are done and i am listed up as one of the finalist. The pic is now presented by the competition owners, so i can finally upload it here.
The topic was "Robots and Mashines" I had finally two pics but decided to take this one. The other one is uploaded here already :D
There is actually no story behind that..

this pic. makes me think of the big daddy and little sister from bioshock.
and you have too many comments on the bot looking like a WWII german soldier or a storm trooper, so i wont mention that :P *hehe*

Ah i havenīt played the game yet. Maybe its time for that. I just searching for a "box" Version, where 1 and 2 is combained... Hope they have such a box at all...
And yeah the helmet is inspired by the german soldier helmet.

Ah yea, cause the helmet is taken from the ww2 german soldier. ^^; Or darth vader helmet XD

All "dark side" troopers where made to be like German SS.
Why? U know... evil guy's and stuff. Help's imagination do the "magic".

yep. just look at Killzone. Best example. :) And the leaders of Hellgast are looking like Stalin, Himmler and co. XD Very funny. Also starwars. XD Imperial soldiers are looking like japanese uniforms and darth vader has the german helmet. :D But í also found in a museum in japan a helmet from the samurai era. It looked really llike the darth vader helmet. :)

Oh yes... and in Killzone BY CHANSE the "good" force of earth is ISA (change I to U and you will get the point).

Du muss mich entschuldigen aber das hier muss ich auf english screiben weil mein deutsch hilf mir nicht viel heute ^^;

This is pretty good work. I've noticing that you more or less with the same pose and perspective angle in several of your drawings ;)
I'm aware this is an oldie but you could try out some more poses.

PS: I also should do the same... I don't have many dinamic poses either :iconimhappyplz.
